If anybody had the right to be angry, then it should be the Chief Imam himself.: -Sheikh Aminu Bamba
One of the distinctive attributes of Sheikh Aminu Bamba is that, a higher percentage of people who invite him to their Islamic gathering have some element of truth or correction they want to address before their people, but are concerned about how it will be received.

If anybody had the right to be angry, then it should be the Chief Imam himself. This is because Malam Aminu addressed him directly while excusing him at the same time, just as a scholar should do. This is the teaching of Islam.
In all the brouhaha going around, pay attention to how he wisely addressed the Chief Imam himself. This is how Malam Aminu is; a man with unblemished integrity, fearless, and focused. May Allah bless him for his ijtihādāt.
In summary, he appeared to have said, “Imam, there is a lot happening behind your back. I am drawing your attention to it before people start using you as an excuse for their iniquities when you are no more.” I bet you that some of the deceased scholars would have wished they had this level of kindness from the people around them.
Regardless of how you choose to interpret Sheikh Aminu approach, I would have personally have issues if he had thrown tantrums behind the Imam’s back, just as some of you do. The good thing is that he faced the Imam directly, saying with wisdom exactly WHAT THE IMAM BELIEVES IN. You heard me right. The is the reason why I said that his coming there has a purpose. Go back and read my introductory statement.
I honestly believe that he was speaking the mind of his Chief host
